Accessibility

Last updated: September 2026

DueBy is made so that anyone can keep track of bills, subscriptions, and paychecks, however they use their device. Every screen is designed with Apple's accessibility features in mind, in all seventeen languages the app speaks. This page lists what DueBy supports on each device, the same list as the Accessibility section of its App Store page.

iPhone and iPad

VoiceOver: buttons, rows, charts, and cards have spoken labels, and actions such as Mark Paid, Skip, and Change Category are offered as VoiceOver actions, so nothing depends on a swipe or a long press.

Voice Control: controls have names you can say, and every control can also be reached by number or grid.

Larger Text: text follows your text size setting up to the largest accessibility sizes, and layouts rearrange instead of cutting words off.

Dark Interface: every screen has a dark appearance that follows your system setting.

Differentiate Without Color Alone: overdue, paid, and due-soon states always carry a word or a symbol, not just a color.

Sufficient Contrast: text and controls are checked for contrast in light and dark appearance.

Reduced Motion: when Reduce Motion is on, movement is replaced with simple fades.

Mac

The Mac app supports VoiceOver, Voice Control, Dark Interface, Differentiate Without Color Alone, Sufficient Contrast, and Reduced Motion, as described above.

Apple Watch

The Apple Watch app supports VoiceOver, Larger Text, Dark Interface, Differentiate Without Color Alone, Sufficient Contrast, and Reduced Motion.

Captions and audio descriptions

DueBy has no video or audio content, so captions and audio descriptions don't apply.

How we check

Every screen on iPhone is checked with Xcode's accessibility audit in light and dark appearance, at the default text size and at the largest accessibility size, in English and Spanish. Issues the audit finds are fixed before a release ships.

Tell us what doesn't work

If something in DueBy is hard to use with an accessibility feature, tell us which device and feature you use and what happened. We read every message and reply by email.
